After a 3 hour drive to Columbus Ohio to see the band COLD. I came across a few really cool new bands. Among these bands was a group called REDLOCK. Even though they are a bunch of older guys not 50 or 60 but older than my 31 years. They really rocked the house so for this reason I am promoting them on this sight. The band is Boston based, but they actually all live in Seacost NH. The band was formed back in August of 2007. The band started when JIM (bass/vocals) ran into PETE (Guitars) after not seeing him for years since they played in a band called CHOKE back in 2000. When they decided to jam again, PETE mentioned it to FLETCH (lead vocals), who also was in CHOKE. he was interested so we started jamming together with a drummer named JOSH HALE. 6 months or so later PETE mentioned he knew a guitar player who would compliment what we were doing, and BO (Guitars) came onboard. We added a second singer as a frontman as FLETCH was also playing keys at that time. After much time with that lineup, they didn't feel the 2 singer thing was going in the same direction as the music, so they talked to FLETCH and decided to have him move back up front and lose the keys and the second singer. Around that time their drummer was going thru a divorce and ended up with full custody of his kids and couldn't do what we needed , so TRAVIS (Drums) came onboard...hence the lineup now. They are currently recording a full length CD. the tracks are done, they hope to have it mixed down and finished by the end of June.
